Killing of Richard Johnson in Florida in 1940
Incident
Richard Johnson, about 22, a porter, was killed in 1940 by Willie Goldstein, a store owner, in Miami, Florida. Goldstein shot Johnson, claiming that Johnson stole a watch from his store and attempted to grab the gun from his hand.
