Incident
Otis Newsome Sr. (1922 - 1948), an auto mechanic and WWII veteran, was killed by U. C Strickland, a service station operator in Wilson County, North Carolina. Newsome and two companions went to Strickland to purchase brake fluid but were not able to put it in their vehicle.
