Killing of Mose Miller in Arkansas in 1931
Incident
Mose Miller, about 51, a tenant farmer, died in jail in 1931 in Cross County, Arkansas. G. T. Glover, the manager of the farm on which Miller and his sons worked, went to the Millers’ cabin and interrogated them about why they had failed to work on the previous day In the ensuing argument, Glover was killed. Miller was wounded and died in jail. Posses searched for his two sons, who fled after the shooting.
