Reuben Micou, about 65, a farmer, was killed by a mob in 1933 in Louisville, Winston County, Mississippi. Micou was jailed following an altercation with a man named Lee McDowell. A mob of 17 white men broke into the jail, kidnapped Micou, flogged and shot him. A grand jury returned indictments. However it appears there was no further process.
