Mitchell Dunklin (1922 - 1944), a veteran and a farmer, was killed by Sheriff Otto Morror (and a group of white men in Pleasant Hill, Lowndes County, Alabama. After killing Dunklin, Morror and the group went to the Dunklin house, beat his parents and threatened to kill them if they told anyone about the murder.
