John Henry Wilson (1921 - 1949), a construction worker and WWII veteran, was killed by unidentified police officers in his home in Anniston, Calhoun County, Alabama. Wilson allegedly fired at police officers who entered his home looking for a burglary suspect. The officers shot and killed Wilson. A coroner returned a finding of justifiable homicide.
