Killing of Neal Guinn in Alabama in 1931
Incident
Neal Guinn, 16, was killed in 1931 by a lynch mob in Lowndes County, Alabama. Guinn was accused of an attempted attack upon an 11-year-old white girl. She reportedly escaped and ran home. Guinn was shot 32 times and tied to the trunk of a tree with a rope and a dog chain.
