Case summary

Odis Price, 21, a turpentine worker, was killed in 1938 in Taylor County, Florida. A white woman claimed that Price had tried to assault her. When Price was being transported to jail, a mob kidnapped and shot Price and left him to die on the side of the road. Grand jury declined to indict.
