George Price (1902 - 1931), an auto mechanic, was killed by deputy sheriff M. D. McArthur in Escambia County, Florida. McArthur had arrested Price and was transporting him to the county jail when Price allegedly shot McArthur, wounding him. McArthur shot Price back, killing him.
