Killing of Dave Wilson in Alabama in 1948
Incident
Dave Wilson (1900-1948), a miner, was killed by Special Deputy Mack Alexander in Porter, Jefferson County, Alabama. Police claimed that they were responding to a report of disorderly conduct at Wilson’s home, and that Wilson threatened them with a knife. Alexander shot Wilson in the head and chest.
