Killing of T. J. Thomas in Georgia in 1933
Incident
T. J. Thomas was killed in 1933 in Baker County, Georgia. Thomas was taken from his home, hanged and shot after a white man, Patrick Kirksey, died from gunshot wounds in a fight between a group of white and Black men.
