Leonard Morrison, 28, a veteran, was killed by Fort Worth police in 1954 in Tarrant County, Texas. The police were called to settle a disturbance outside Morrison’s home. A fight ensued where an unidentified police officer shot Morrison in the back. Morrison died from injuries three days later in the hospital. Grand jury declined to indict.
