Killing of Edward Williams in Florida
Incident
Edward Williams was killed in 1937 in Ocala County, Florida. He had been held in Ocala County jail on charges of insulting two white women. His mother, Dinah Kirkland, stated that he was released from jail to a group of white men in a car and never heard from again.
