Willie Bell McCallum, 20, a farmer, was killed in 1932 in Kemper County, Mississippi. The bodies of Willie Bell McCallum and her sister Minnie McCallum, 21, were found in the woods with their heads badly crushed apparently from blows from a heavy instrument. Some community members suspected that a white farmer had killed the women. There had been a conflict between them the previous year. The farmer had been harassing and threatening the sisters. Minie McCallum, 21, a farmer, was killed in 1932 in Kemper County, Mississippi.
