Incident
Willie Foster, an organizer for International Labor Defense, died in 1935 in Selma, Alabama. Foster was an organizer for the International Labor Defense. He was investigating the arrest of members of the Sharecroppers Union in a strike of cotton pickers when he was arrested, kidnapped from jail, and killed.
