Incident
Carlton Holloway (1916-1953), a farmer and veteran, was killed in Chambers County, Alabama, by unknown person(s). The death certificate says he was the victim of a hit-and-run car incident. An informant named John Jackson told the FBI that Holloway was murdered by a mob of more than 100 people, led by Albert Bell, Ray Bell, Bill Carter, and Duke Carter.
