Hitler, first name unknown, a laborer, was killed in 1942 by Cal Nance and Gee Lee in Laurens County, South Carolina. Nance and Lee beat, strangled and threw Hitler in the back of their car for leaving Nance’s farm to work elsewhere. Nance was a white farmer and the son of a former state senator.
